You Set the Bar Very High!
Dear Neda, We have landed in Florida and are getting settled. Early on the prospect of relocation was unsettling at best, but I told myself “You can do this Angie, and while you are at it you can sell the house yourself...think of the money you’ll save!” Your visit with some marketing material saved us from a mess that only a novice with the best intentions can make. We had always thought that Real Estate Agents were not worth the percentage they were paid - they put a sign in the yard and waited for escrow to close - but you changed our minds and we learned that the experience and outcome can be phenomenal if your agent is a solid, experienced professional. I could write several pages of praises...you were not pushy...there was a peace and insightful perspective...you provided all of the comps, current listings, inside scoop about the market...amazed at your cadre of outstanding resources, from inspectors to painters... Once we started working together we were very impressed by your gift of listening. I was concerned that the listing price of our home was too high and that it was not going to sell as fast as I wanted/needed it to sell, but you heard me out and suggested we had our own appraisal done. You were right and the price was right! The market confirmed it with an offer within 48 hours of the listing and a back up offer in the bag as well. You remained open to ideas and provided workable solutions. You held the ground for us when we were tempted to lower the price or pull out of the market. We were starting to make decisions based on emotions, but you brought us into a rational mindset. It was truly a partnership and we’re grateful we had a strong, talented advocate and seasoned, savvy negotiator on our side. You protected our sale and our position in all aspects of the offers, counters and escrow, including frequent follow-up with the buyer’s agent, lenders, etc. You made it a point to be on the property for the appraisal and the inspections – it was clear that there was no fooling around or foot dragging on Neda’s watch! Neda, we could not believe how hard you worked on our behalf. Your strong work ethic, follow up, follow through, tireless efforts and professional expertise have spoiled us so much that we ended up having to let our first agent in Florida go. You set the bar very high! We have so much to thank you for...all the “behind the scenes” activities that kept the ball rolling in the right direction, your positive approach, wise insight and warm smile. You know that we loved our home, it was hard to leave, but having you as our agent (and now our friend) we will look back on this experience with warm thoughts and good memories...and a lot of funny tales and tidbits...no horror stories here. We will miss you and hope we can stay in touch. Thank you again for everything. Your Friends and Fans Forever, Angie and Mike Magill

Interest Rates >Affordable Home Loans
A whole new crop of homebuyers emerges every year. With interest rates remaining relatively low, more interested buyers than ever before are applying for home mortgage loans. Affordable loan packages are creating more investment possibilities for second homes. Trade-up or scale-down buyers are free to move into an exciting new home or condo, making more starter homes available for first-time buyers.
The advantage goes to the seller when there are more buyers than homes for sale. But in a market where the inventory of homes is growing, the competition between sellers increases and gives buyers more options. More competition is not a problem if the local market is moving at a lively pace.
Affordable loans and a wide variety of financing options make it an excellent time to buy or sell real estate.
